Riley & Gray came about in 2022 completely at random.

It all started when my wife Jamie asked me to make something special and unique for our sons 1st birthday, a keepsake that he could use for hours on end and continue to use as he grows and develops and it was a huge hit. She wanted him to have a busy board and we couldn't find anything anywhere online that was top quality so I made him one.

We were tired of spending money on plastic toys that would be used for only a few minutes then forgotten about or end up in land fill.

Since starting our business in 2022 our boards have bought joy & helped hundreds of people. The boards have been used to assist people with Dementia, Autism, Down syndrome and Stroke recovery by aiding in sensory integration therapy, fine motor skill development, and sensory-motor coordination requiring sensory stimulation & of course brought and utilised by many childhood centres & rest homes.

Our Name Riley & Gray came about as Riley was our 15 year old beautiful Pomeranian dog who sadly passed away in 2025, Gray is our son Grayson who when we started this business wasn't even 1 and is not about to start School. Im Ben the one who builds the boards but my actual trade is as a Boat Builder and Im also a qualified Marine engineer, Jamie is my Wife who primarily does the social media side of things. We have now also got a Son called Eden who is 2 and a recent addition to our family is Wilson our 6 month old full of life Puppy.
